The Druckstudio Group, based in Düsseldorf, is doing its bit to help young people in our community. In recognition of its commitments, it received the accolade “Social Print Project of the Year” at the Druck&Medien Awards 2011. Host Barbara Schöneberger presented Druckstudio with the prestigious industry award at the gala event in Berlin, honouring the company’s consistent commitment to social causes. Druckstudio supports associations and institutions that help children and young people in the Düsseldorf area. The company provides around EUR 50,000 of sponsorship each year in the form of print products and financial support.

The entries submitted by Druckstudio GmbH for the Druck & Medien Awards 2011 have once again received two nominations, this time in the categories “Most Environment-Oriented Company of the Year” and “Social Print Project of the Year”.

The Druckstudio Group in Düsseldorf has been crowned one of the world’s twelve most eco-friendly print companies by an independent international panel of judges at the ceremony for the Heidelberg ECO Printing Award 2011. The judges’ positive assessment is confirmation that Druckstudio’s comprehensive approach to sustainability in environmental, economic and social areas is not a passing trend but a factor to which the company has been actively committed for many years.

Druckstudio GmbH in Düsseldorf has won the gold Special Prize for Print & Innovation at this year’s BCP (Best Corporate Publishing) Awards. The product that secured the win is the anniversary edition of the JADES customer magazine, which impressed the judging panel with its unique combination of high-end surface finishes on the cover page.

Thanks to its employee-focused corporate culture, Druckstudio GmbH was once again voted one of Germany’s top 100 employers in 2010. It is the third time in succession that the Düsseldorf-based print shop has numbered among the recipients of the Great Place to Work Institute’s coveted “Germany’s Best Employers” award.

Druckstudio GmbH has been nominated not once, but twice – in the categories “Commercial Printer of the Year” and “Training Company of the Year”. The year’s top commercial printer must impress the judges with its innovative development. They are looking for the company that wins through in the graphic arts industry’s most fiercely competitive sector.

Druckstudio GmbH was once again voted one of Germany’s top 100 employers in 2009 – the second time the Düsseldorf-based company has won the Great Place to Work Institute’s coveted “Germany’s Best Employers” award. The presentation was made by German Labour Minister Olaf Scholz at a gala evening held at Berlin’s Ritz Carlton Hotel on 12 February 2009.

Druckstudio GmbH in Düsseldorf is one of the top companies in the German printing industry. On 4 November 2008, industry magazine Druck&Medien named the print shop “Magazine Printer of the Year 2008”. The Druck&Medien Awards are considered the most important in the German printing industry.

Düsseldorf-based Druckstudio GmbH was one of the gold award winners at the Sappi European Printers of the Year 2008. The company came out tops in the category of “Magazine” for its Drupa Report Nr. 4. It won over the jury with a combination of high-quality offset printing and sophisticated finishing technology.
