After winning the German Sustainability Award at the beginning of October, the Düsseldorf-based Druckstudio Group is delighted to announce further successes: at this year’s Print & Media Awards, the most important awards in the German-speaking printing and media industry, the company received awards in three categories. Particularly noteworthy is the gold award for ‘Environmentally Oriented Company of the Year’. It underscores the Düsseldorf-based medium-sized company’s consistent commitment to resource-saving and climate-conscious print production. In addition, the Druckstudio Group received silver as ‘Magazine Printer of the Year’ and ‘Recycled Paper Printer of the Year’ as well as bronze as ‘Catalogue Printer of the Year’ and ‘Book Printer of the Year’.

The Düsseldorf-based Druckstudio Group has been awarded the German Sustainability Award for Companies in the ‘Printing Companies’ category. The award honours exemplary sustainability achievements in business, local government and research. It is considered one of the most prestigious awards in the field of sustainability in Europe and is based on the United Nations’ Agenda 2030. The competition examines all of a company’s processes for aspects such as environmental compatibility, energy and resource efficiency, fair logistics and social standards. The Druckstudio Group has been a pioneer in sustainability in the printing industry for many years. It was already among the three finalists for the award in 2024 and is now delighted to receive recognition for its commitment, particularly in the areas of climate and resource protection.

This year, we are once again delighted to have made it to the finalists of the Druck&Medien Awards 2025. We were nominated in five product categories: “Book Printer of the Year”, “Catalogue Printer of the Year”, “Magazine Printer of the Year”, “Recycled Paper Printer of the Year” and  “Environmentally Orientated Company of the Year”. Now the tension is rising again until the awards ceremony on October 23, 2025 at the Grand Hyatt Hotel Berlin, where the winners will be announced.

Company makes it into the top 15 percent.
The Druckstudio Group from Düsseldorf is delighted to have been awarded a silver medal by EcoVadis, a global company that compiles sustainability rankings. This puts the Druckstudio Group in the top 15 percent of all companies worldwide that have taken part in the ranking over the past twelve months. The Düsseldorf-based print and media service provider is thus continuing to pursue its sustainability strategy. For example, the company is certified with the Blue Angel DE-UZ 195 and was one of the three finalists in its sector for the German Sustainability Award in 2024. The EcoVadis ranking confirms the company’s market position as one of the most sustainable print shops in the German-speaking world. The award helps consumers and companies to choose a sustainable print service provider.
