This year, we are once again delighted to have made it to the finalists of the Druck&Medien Awards 2025. We were nominated in five categories: “Book Printer of the Year”, “Catalogue Printer of the Year”, “Magazine Printer of the Year”, “Recycled Paper Printer of the Year” and “Environmentally Orientated Company of the Year”. Now the tension is rising again until the awards ceremony on October 23, 2025 at the Grand Hyatt Hotel Berlin, where the winners will be announced.
We have submitted a representative variety of print products in the following product categories, reflecting the broad spectrum of our capabilities and expertise as a premium printing company:
“Book printer of the year”
The jury’s decision is based on high-quality books with soft or hard covers, perfect binding or thread sewing. Innovative workflows in book production are also evaluated in this category.
“Catalogue printer of the year”
This category recognises particularly outstanding catalogue productions. Although production quality is a key criterion, the jury also takes into account the scope of the catalogues submitted and the size of the print run. Entrants who can demonstrate innovative production workflows also have a good chance of winning. Innovative e-commerce concepts are also welcome in this category.
“Magazine printer of the year”
In this category, the quality and finishing of consumer magazines, trade journals and customer magazines are given high priority.
“Recycled paper printer of the year”
In this category, print shops with hight sustainability standards are given the opportunity to have their environmental commitment recognized. The decisive criteria are aesthetics and quality and, ultimately, the commitment to greater sustainability in the use of recycled paper and/or recycled cardboard, all of which must be awarded the Blue Angel.
“Environmentally orientated company of the year”
This category recognises companies that are particularly committed to environmental protection. The assessment takes into account factors such as clear environmental certificates, emission figures and evidence of special measures that enable a ‘before and after’ evaluation.
As every year, the winners of the individual competition categories will be announced at the festive gala event on October 23, 2025 at the Grand Hyatt Hotel in Berlin. We are eagerly awaiting the results.
