As key pillars of our corporate philosophy, sustainability and environmental protection are a top priority for us. For many years, we have taken concrete steps to move away from energy and resource-intensive production towards a more environmentally friendly approach. In doing so, we endeavour to ensure transparency and credibility at all times. That applies to ourselves and to the partners and suppliers that contribute to our environmental protection measures. Our customers can therefore be sure that they are receiving print products and media services that meet high quality and ecological standards, which in turn has benefits for their own business and image.<\/span><\/strong><\/h4>\n<\/div><\/div>

For us, environmental protection goes deeper.<\/b> We are committed to consistent environmental protection, which is why we don\u2019t just scratch the surface \u2014 we go deeper \u2014 with numerous concrete measures.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

For many years now, we have been committed to consistently protecting the environment\u2014voluntarily, sustainably, and effectively.<\/p>\n

Our goal is to systematically assess the environmental impact of our printing operations, use resources efficiently, and continuously develop and improve our production processes.<\/p>\n

The foundation for this is our environmental management system based on EMAS and ISO 14001<\/strong>. Both systems help us evaluate environmental aspects in a structured manner, implement specific improvement measures, and regularly review their effectiveness.<\/p>\n

EMAS (Eco-Management and Audit Scheme)<\/strong> sets particularly comprehensive requirements for corporate environmental management. Going beyond the requirements of ISO 14001, EMAS combines the continuous improvement of environmental performance with transparent environmental reporting. Our environmental statement is regularly reviewed and validated by an independent, accredited environmental verifier. This allows us to provide transparency regarding our environmental performance and its development.<\/p>\n

On this basis, we implement targeted measures to reduce energy consumption and greenhouse gas emissions and invest in modern printing technologies as well as resource-efficient production processes.<\/p>\n

Another key component is the production of printed materials in accordance with the requirements of the Blue Angel eco-label (DE-UZ 195)<\/strong>. The certification sets specific requirements regarding, among other things, the materials used, the printing process, and the recyclability of the certified printed products<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>

Greenhouse Gas Emissions from Printing<\/strong>
