As key pillars of our corporate philosophy, sustainability and environmental protection are a top priority for us. A specially formed five-strong environmental team is tasked with minimising the overall environmental impact of our operations in all areas of the company. Based on the motto "avoid, reduce, offset", we're lowering energy and resource consumption and thus combining active environmental protection with cost-effectiveness.
We are fully committed to voluntary climate protection. We work continuously on emissions reduction projects and energy efficiency measures in all production processes and underlying infrastructures, thereby breaking the link between growth and the consumption of resources. We achieve precisely the same high-quality results, but by using environmentally friendly materials.
State-of-the-art technology allows us to increase productivity while lowering power consumption and therefore helps cut emissions to the absolute minimum and protect the climate. Green electricity is used throughout the company. We prefer to use FSC paper sourced from forests managed in a socially and environmentally responsible way and are ourselves an FSC-certified company.
We also offer you the opportunity to embrace carbon-neutral printing, with transparency and credibility being of paramount importance to us. When offsetting our CO2 emissions, we use only Gold Standard certificates in renewable energies and demand the highest standards for reforestation projects.
We have been involved in the state of North Rhine-Westphalia's Ökoprofit environmental project since 2009 and were officially certified as an "Ökoprofit company" in January 2010.
