Düsseldorf-based company Druckstudio GmbH was awarded silver in the prestigious “Company reports” category of the 2010 German Printing Industry Innovation Awards. The company report “Gauselmann – Die Spielemacher 2008” was received well by the panel of judges. Of the ten nominations in this category of print products, Druckstudio GmbH was represented a total of three times. Martin Piszczek, one of the Managing Directors of Druckstudio GmbH, accepted the award on 18 November at the Liederhalle convention centre in Stuttgart.

8By winning this award, Druckstudio GmbH has proved for the second time in succession that it is one of the most innovative print shops in the industry. “The Gauselmann Group, a gaming machine manufacturer, didn’t just want its report to contain lists of figures; it wanted playful elements, too”, explained Martin Piszczek. Druckstudio turned this vision into reality with striking details such as lenticular print images, which create a 3D effect, and special folding techniques. The panel of judges praised the “outstanding” interplay between creativity and production, especially the fold-out page in the middle, which reveals four new gaming machines in succession using a special folding technique.

“Due to our consultation services and close cooperation with customers, we are able to create customised print products with unusual ideas tailored to all budgets and images”, explained Piszczek. The Druckstudio Group has everything that is needed to develop special products – extensive experience and technical expertise, creativity, a love of experimenting and the drive to discover new surface finishing and processing techniques.
